My family noticed that the creche around the corner from our house was for sale.
We decided to buy the creche and convert it into a house.
We got ownership of the property on 1 June 2022, and we immediately got to work.
The entire property’s tiles and ceilings were removed.
Then a few walls were also knocked down in order to change the layout on the inside.
After that, we started to build in a few new walls, new tiles and new ceilings and a LOT of paint.
All the playground equipment was sold, and the proceeds were used to buy paint and other consumables.
It is now one year later, and we have converted a creche into a 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms + 1 study house. Plus, there’s a flat on the western side of the house. The flat consists of one bedroom, a bathroom, kitchen and living room.
Even our six-year-old son was eager to help with the renovation work!
