We moved to a smaller home in June of 2021 – downscaling from 385 square metres to 169 square metres is not something you do willy nilly. However, when we found our new little home, we saw loads of potential and thus started with our kitchen renovation on 22 November 2021. We worked with a small contractor team that we had used in our previous home renovations – Rajun, Chris and Dees are basically like family. They had until the 13th of December to get the kitchen done and dusted before the “Vaalie” family onslaught. They kept to their promise.
We opened up the closed-off kitchen to give us an open-air feel so we can chat to la familia whilst cooking up a storm.
Even though our kitchen is small, opening it up gave us so much more space and light.
