About the Project:
1. Repair walls and paint. Whitewash brick wall to lighten and update the space. 2. Painted the dresser and the newly donated workbench in Rose colour paint. 3. Varnish to top of workbench and all joinery to match existing antique table and settee. 4. Re-varnish old wooden crates to refresh and match existing timber. 5….
1. Repair walls and paint. Whitewash brick wall to lighten and update the space.
2. Painted the dresser and the newly donated workbench in Rose colour paint.
3. Varnish to top of workbench and all joinery to match existing antique table and settee. 4. Re-varnish old wooden crates to refresh and match existing timber.
5. Fixed two new shelves in existing cavity between wall and cupboard.
6. Freestanding timber room divider to create space and ambience, created by fellow DIYer.
7. New pull-out utility cupboard made by same fellow DIYer.
8. Curtains made by our mother with existing fabric.
9. Hung original artwork by Mary-Louise and her son Jack (NOT Frida).
10. Installation of vintage plates and mixed media embroidery hoops/ceramic sculptures by same artist.
11. New rug purchased online to create a flow of warmth to the room.
