When we moved into our new house, we had a strange ‘dead spot’ between the security gate and leading up to the front door. After much deliberation I decided to create what is now affectionately called our Bali Garden. Firstly, we painted the wall a dark grey to eliminate the raw concrete feel. We added a spruce T&G ceiling, quadrants and a slight whitewash to “neaten up” the corrugated roof sheeting above the patio. I revamped two old wooden Balinese lanterns for the edges and along with all the tropical plants, we also added a beautiful stone fountain. I found a lovely Asian-style wooden wall artwork on Facebook Marketplace which I revamped for the wall. Lastly, we installed a Lunawood deck and added a gorgeous hanging egg chair.
