We purchased a plot & plan house directly from a developer so when we took occupation it was a blank canvas that we needed to put a lot of work into ourselves in order to complete and personalise. The kitchen and scullery had a basic structure with one ceiling light point and a few cupboards. We added oak flooring with an Osmo stain & seal (to protect it from kitchen mess). We extended the scullery Easy Quartz counter and added overhead cupboards throughout the kitchen and scullery. We added dark-stained birch ply open shelving to each corner of the kitchen as a feature. We added more plug points to increase functionality along with over-counter lights and under-counter LED strip lights throughout the kitchen and scullery. We replaced the silver tapware with matte black tapware and powder-coated (matte black) all the cupboard door handles. We added a matte white ceramic subway tile splashback and had a personalised glass splashback added behind the stove.
