We filled in our huge swimming pool and made it into a garden sanctuary, saving both water and electricity. The old pool was huge (110 000L) and took enormous amounts of water to top up. It needed to be renovated but instead of trying to keep a huge pool going, and refilling it, we decided to create a garden that we enjoy so much more.
