Our old bathroom was extremely outdated and tattered. So, we ripped out all the wall tiles and floor tiles. We took out the old toilet, bath, basin, etc. And, basically, gutted the entire bathroom.
We then had new white wall tiles and a mosaic patterned floor tile put in. We now have a new freestanding bath with a hand-shower hose as well as a new basin and toilet. I added some personal touches with a big New York art piece above the bath, matching colour-coded towels, a black step stool, and several other complementary bathroom accessories.
It looks like a hotel bathroom now.
