Our kitchen was last done in 2000. So, with a renovation so desperately overdue, my husband and I took the plunge and decided to go full steam ahead.
The kitchen is the most used room in the house and as much as our kitchen has served us well, it was time for change.
We took some inspiration tours, watched the Home Channel, chose our design and colour scheme, and of course settled on a budget. All in all, we were able to keep within budget by buying items on sale and created a kitchen we love. We were also able to salvage some of our older cupboards and we used those in my craft room/study.
