We are passionate about travel and want to see as much of South Africa as we can with our four children. What better way to do that than in a converted 1980 International bus. About three years ago, we decided that we wanted to move to another part of the country. Not entirely sure where to go, we decided to travel through SA in a bus, until we could find the perfect spot to settle.

In its previous life, the bus was a mobile library. We decided to use as many of the original library shelves as possible. With a background in architecture, we designed our dream tiny home with a bunkroom for the kids, a shower, composting toilet, wardrobe, pantry, full tiny kitchen and a living space that doubles as our bedroom. We also have a multipurpose table area in the front on top of the engine box. The map inserted in the table was in the bus when we bought it. We look forward to mapping out our journey. The interior of the bus has a strong Moroccan influence, with fabrics that I collected while living in Morocco.
